Our crystal singing bowls are made of the highest quality (99% pure!) silica quartz crystal, making them incredibly resonant. The tones produced by crystal bowls are not just heard by the ear, you feel them in your body, your energy centers (chakras) for healing, balancing & meditation. Crystal singing bowls can be used for many purposes.
Here is some general information about Crystal Singing Bowls. Please note that this information is in no way hard fact or by rule, it is information gathered from others using Crystal singing bowls and by our own intuitive experiences.

Cleansing and working with Crystals...It is recommended that crystals requiring cleaning are placed around the bowl while it is played. Large pieces like clusters are best placed on a piece of cork or fabric to avoid it rattling against the bowl. When the bowl is played the energy of the crystal is amplified and transmitted by the sound. By choosing appropriate crystals any bowl can be changed to have a desired effect; black tourmaline for grounding or working on the base chakra, rose quartz for the heart chakra etc.

Space Clearing....In the same way as other sources of sound, crystal bowls can be used to even out and balance energies in rooms and houses. Because of their power they are able to work very rapidly and clear large spaces. Brilliant for Feng Shui and all energy clearing work.

Healing and Meditation...Crystal singing bowls emit a frequency that breaks up blockages, clears negativity and gently energizes and soothes the mind and body. There are many opinions out there on this subject, courses that are available etc but most of all it is recommended that one uses their intuition as to what is best for you.

Choosing Bowls and Notes....There are various systems linking different notes with chakras. There are also other systems which start from different notes and a system which attributes diameters of bowls to chakras and certain healings. In our experience and that of many other practioners we have found that a bowl will go to work where it is needed at that time and when using bowls there is no need to become caught up about which note it is producing as the vibration is felt so individually. Certain people will feel a particular bowl's vibration in a specific chakra and others may feel the vibration in another area or chakra. It is such an individual thing and as each bowl is unique so is the experience of that bowl to each person. 
We cannot guarantee that the bowls will be exactly the note advertised, as they are all individual, and is for a rough guide only.  In general
smaller bowls emit a higher frequency and larger bowls a lower frequency but as each bowl is unique so is its tone. It's all intuition and how you play the bowl. You can also find that by playing a bowl in different ways or by adding water you can alter the frequency. Just get creative, follow your intuition and most of all... enjoy.
